Nine days until Christmas. This year, I got you cheese.
Seriously, with the mish mash of storms that have been passing over the Philadelphia area, we’re stocked up on breads and cheeses in our kitchen. So, you’re going to be seeing a lot of grilled cheeses on the blog, and less Christmas type foods. So, in a way, I got you bread and cheese for Christmas.
Today’s melted cheese is a take on bruschetta with a little bit of goat cheese, which is a very underrated cheese if you’ve never had it. If you like cream cheese, you’ll like goat cheese. A little fresh oregano gives the sandwich some earthiness.
goat cheese, spreadable
mozzarella cheese, cut into slices
fresh oregano, chopped
2 slices Italian bread
It’s grilled cheese. I think you can figure this one out yourself.
